Custom Creepy Portraits by Killerpankcake

Looking for something just for you or a customized gift for your loved one? It is my great pleasure to work with my clients on a transformative bespoke portrait!

About My Portraits

I create portraits of people or pets that transform them into monsters or explore darker/witcher themes.

Because my style is dark and occult themed I prefer to stick to that lane. In the past people have requested to become troll, spice devils, witches, zombies, and even a Dorian Grey like portrait. Check out my Instagram to get a sense of my style. I also love doing historical illustrations. If you have an ancestor that you want to portray, let’s talk!

Head and shoulders are preferred but I can accommodate a full-body image as long as it makes sense for the piece.

I can refuse a request and return a deposit if I feel uncomfortable with the idea proposed.

How I Print Them

You have two options! Note: a deposit of $100 is required to start and the final payment is required before printing.

FAQs

How do you collect reference images for the portrait?

There are a couple of ways we can do this. If you are local to Pittsburgh, we can meet up in a public place so I can take reference images (with preferred lighting). If you are not local to Pittsburgh (or there is a global pandemic not allowing us to meet in person) we can chat about the drawing on the phone and I will advise you on how to take the pictures. (I know you take great selfies but reference is a little different!)

Use of reference images in other projects

In the past, I have used portrait references from private commissions for use in other projects including future decks of cards. Most people love this but if you really don’t want to show up elsewhere in my work let me know.

How long does it take to produce my drawing?

It really depends, but I block out a month's time to draw then produce and ship the print to you. With supply chain still being an issue today I would expect it to take a month and a half total from when you submit references. If you are out of the US it can take a little longer. So, if you are getting this as a gift for someone or ordering for delivery around the holidays, plan accordingly! I like to take my time with these portraits so I don't do rush projects.

Changes and refusal

This is a customized item. There are no returns or refunds. While creating your portrait, I tend to keep people updated on my progress and ask questions as I work. However, there will not be a ton of time to make any major changes. You can see the portrait before it goes to print but I won't make any major adjustments to the work. Take a look at my other prints to make sure my style fits the portrait you are envisioning!

What happens after I email you?

We will chat about your idea and once we are on the same page I will invoice you for the deposit. Once I have references I will begin the drawing and when it is ready for print I will ask for the full amount.

Costs: $250 for a framed print; $300 for a printed canvas; $100 deposit to begin
