Where we are at with Live Figure Drawing in Pittsburgh

Where we are at with Live Figure Drawing in Pittsburgh

The news isn't good! I'm sorry to say it, but there aren't any sessions meeting in real life and frankly that's for the best at the moment. Until a vaccine has been created and widely distributed, it will be unlikely that anyone is willing to risk gathering.

At this point the only information I have about local people is David and Betsy via Meetup.com.

In the meantime—wear a mask, wash your hands, and don't be a jerk!

June 2020 Figure Drawing in Pgh

June 2020 Figure Drawing in Pgh

If you haven't noticed, I've launched a new website! During the COVID downtime, I have been working super hard to revamp my look and I hope you enjoy.

While we have been sheltering-in-place David and Betsy have been holding it down with figure drawing Zoom meetings! This month they are doing a hybrid of live and online sessions. Their beautiful farm has enough space for people to social distance and enjoy drawing from the safety of your own vehicle. Can't make the drive? They will have a live feed you can join via Zoom.

Drive-In Figure Drawing at the Farm

Park in the field around a stage. Draw from your car, or set up a lawn chair in front of your vehicle. Bathroom is available; no snack table. Space limited to maintain social distancing. Sign up required through the Pittsburgh Figure Drawing Meetup or an email to David.
